Due to a shift of institutional resources to focus on other pressing projects, the journal has ceased publication for the foreseeable future. During the time of its activity, the journal benefited from the expertise of many authors, reviewers, editors, production staff, and others who contributed to creating and sharing content about this important scholarly area. JOLS content will continue to be available online, and a pending migration will move content into a newer, more streamlined system for access and discovery.
