Appreciative Active Learning
Abstract
Appreciative Active Learning incorporates the pedagogy of visible thinking with the tenets of Appreciative Advising to enrich active learning strategies. The relevance of active learning, Appreciative Advising, and visible thinking are discussed before an example offers a guide for an Appreciative Active Learning strategy. A framework is then provided for a facilitator to Appreciatively implement any active learning strategy.
